Step Into Golf

Introduction: 2013
Client Brian Selfridge developed an training concept that originally focused on junior golfers. By having a parent or instructor align the driver properly they can place the child into the correct set up position while holding the club in place with their foot. Brian formed Step Into Golf and patented the concept of the Slotted Driver.
The Slotted Driver maintains a square-ish head geometry to help align the club to the target more easily than a traditionally shaped head. Its generous loft and high moment of inertia provides a very stable golf club that works not only as a training aid but also as a playable club for the golf course.
The initial launch of the driver is for the junior market catering to youngsters in the 7-12 age groups. The Step Into Golf program extends beyond the driver. There is a junior fitting program also branded under the same name to accompany the equipment.
